Have called a “movile-free week” against the proliferation of antennas.

     The AVAATE (Asociación Vallisoletana de Afectados por las Antenas de Telefonía) “Valladolid Association of People Affected by Phone Antennas”, among others has called a “mobile-free week” to clain that the Govemment change the law and thus slowing the proliferation of “phone antennas”.

     The EFE association belives that the partnership should be made to the “precautionary principle” to the possibility that the phone antennas affect people’s health. Demand from 16 to 19 of february, citizens keep off their mobile phones and use them only in case of emergency.

     The protest coincides with the celebration of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and it had joined, in addition to the Valladolid associations, neightbourhood federations of Madrid and Barcelona, Ecologist in Action, Join Action Affected byElectromagnetic Fields and the Basque Coordinator Affected by Electromagnetic Fields.

     All these groups belive that these companies are benefiting at the expense of the evils caused by electrmagnetic waves from mobile phones.
